Extended Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)

The Armona Union Elementary School District’s Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) provides students with engaging, enriching, and supportive learning experiences beyond the regular school day. Through a combination of academic support, enrichment activities, hands-on learning, recreation, and educational field trips, ELOP gives students opportunities to build confidence, develop new skills, explore their interests, and have fun in a safe and welcoming environment.

ELOP is designed to support the whole child while extending and reinforcing the learning that takes place in the classroom. We are continually developing new and exciting opportunities for students to learn, create, collaborate, explore, and grow through engaging activities, special events, and educational field trips.

Information about District-sponsored ELOP activities, including Saturday field trips and summer school will be shared by the District. Information about site-based ELOP activities will be provided directly by each individual school as opportunities become available.

Families may register students at any time during the school year for District ELOP activities. We look forward to providing students with even more opportunities to learn beyond the classroom, discover new interests, make memories, and have fun!
